Designed by multiple World Cup champion Christoph Sauser, this exceptional tire is for the days when the race course shows no mercy. Whether the trail is hard-packed, loose-over-hard, sandy, wet or muddy, the Sauserwind Control will roll fast, clean well and bite in the corners. Plus, with 2Bliss technology and a high 120 tpi casing, you can run low pressures for extra traction and not worry about pinch flats.

Specialized's 2Bliss (tubeless) tires are compatible with tubeless and standard rims. When used with tubeless rims, the tire and rim form an airtight chamber, allowing the tire to be inflated without a tube. This lets you run lower pressure for optimum comfort and control without fear of pinch flats. When used with standard rims, the tire can be mounted and inflated with a tube.

The 120-thread-per-inch casing makes this tire conform to the trail for superior cornering and a smoother ride.

This is a folding tire. Folding tires have synthetic beads, which make the tires lighter for easier acceleration and climbing, plus make them easier to install and remove, too.
